OAG have recently installed the 380sqm atrium rooflight at 1 Triton Square, a state-of-the-art office, retail, and leisure redevelopment near Euston Station.
Working closely with the client team we developed a trapezoidal shaped steel portal frame to span the atrium opening, 18m long and 4.5m high.
Before arriving on site, our team carried out a series of tests offsite to ensure safety and performance criteria were met for the rooflight, including weathertightness and impact tests, in line with CWCT standards.
The steel frame sections were installed onsite in November, with the curtain walling and glazing in the New Year.
We carried out further hose pipe tests once the glazing was in place, to ensure the joints were completely waterproof and installed as per design.
