OAG is well versed in 3D Modelling as it has been part of our design process for many years. It has therefore been a relatively simple process to embrace the industry development into Building Information Modelling (BIM).

Working in 3D enables us to view and interrogate our designs in greater detail, detecting clashes with interfacing elements and highlighting specific areas where it becomes complicated to visualise through 2D detailing.

Our clients are now asking us to develop their initial designs and taking them into 3D enables us to present both visually and in detail their designs, which can be easily understood.

Bespoke Revit families are created in-house by our designers and inserted into the model. The information it contains makes designing, planning and developing projects more efficient. Through the BIM process potential problems such as difficult interfaces between trades are quickly highlighted and can therefore be addressed early on.

Fully integrated BIM projects are now becoming more common and OAG are experienced and have the in-house capabilities to fully embrace this approach when required.
