Project Story
We were confident that we could bring more light and an open feel to this building’s entrances and we did.
Since it ties in with the Barbican High Walk network, 125 London Wall has an entrance at ground level and directly above it there’s an almost identical doorway for people using the walkways.
When the building’s owner wanted these entrances refitted, we were called on for a glazing solution that would bring a lighter and more open feel to that area of the building.

Project Story Continued
Refits are always trickier if you don’t have access to the original plans and that was the case here. When we investigated the ceiling area above the doors, we discovered a range of mechanical and electrical services blocking the slab that we needed to fix to. Our team therefore designed a steel fitting that could go around the pipes and wiring and secure the glass in place.
