Nuffield, Pegasus House

Nuffield House was originally built in 1939, designed by architect George J. Skipper. The redevelopment of Nuffield House and Pegasus House is a mixed-use project located in Piccadilly, London W1. Covering 82,634 sq ft, the development includes office spaces, shell and core retail areas and six residential units on the 7th and 8th floors.

Our scope of work involves the supply and installation of a new glazed enclosure for the staircase from ground to level 7. The glazing features a combination of curved and flat double-glazed units, integrated within a Schuco FWS50 system with a powder-coated finished framework. The horizontal and vertical columns, along with support beams, are clad in profiled GRC cladding, with PPC finished vertical external feature mullions spanning between them. 

This project also includes the partial demolition and façade retention of the Grade II listed Nuffield House, while Pegasus House will undergo full demolition and redevelopment, with a new facade that harmonises with the character of Sackville Street and Albany Court.

Retail spaces will occupy the ground and basement levels, featuring new shop fronts on both Piccadilly and Sackville Street, while preserving and reinstalling the listed windows above the shopfronts.
