Old Street station is undergoing a striking makeover thanks to Transport for London.
Having removed the roundabout from Old Street Station junction and returning the road layout to a 2-way system, TFL have planned to make the redesigned OId Street station a more friendly place for commuters, pedestrians and cyclists.
We will be installing the new main station entrance, which is formed from bespoke stainless-steel curtain wall sections and 8.5m high glazing. Our works also include the roof steelwork and deck, the main entrance steel goal posts and stainless-steel cladding.
At the new Cowper Street station entrance, we have designed and installed the bespoke seven curved windows within the pre-cast concrete station entrance structure.
We will also be installing the new glass roof light to the media mast adjacent the main station entrance.
