Peterborough Court

Refurbishment of the historic Peterborough Court, the former headquarters of Goldman Sachs

Project Story

Work has started at the former Goldman Sachs headquarters at Peterborough Court, located at 133 Fleet Street. Built originally in the late 19th Century, it was revamped in 1927 into the Art Deco building we see today. With its distinctive façade, Peterborough Court has been a familiar sight along Fleet Street, once the bustling centre of British journalism.

The refurbishment will create 292,000 sqft of workspace across eleven floors and retail space.

We will install glazed framed doors and windows to access the new private terraces and balconies across four floors. To the public courtyard open space, we will install a new 18m tall, glazed façade with 5 glazed double doors, a bespoke steel framed canopy and a triple-height glazed separation screen.

Louvres will be installed on levels 4-6 and into the level 12 barrel roof, while fixed light windows will be installed on level 11.

The building entrances on Shoe Lane and Wine Office Court will be transformed with bespoke double-height steel curtain wall, revolving doors and flush glazed pass doors, covered by aluminium clad canopies.
