OAG designed, supplied & installed various structural glazing & cladding elements to form a new retail & office area at 135 Bishopsgate.

The retail area of Broadgate is being redeveloped in conjunction with the Liverpool St Crossrail Station opening in 2019

Due to OAG being engaged early in the design process, the initial works involved providing a number of key component samples and a scaled visual mock-up of the ‘Feature Portal Cladding’. This allowed for review by the architects & main contractors, as well as assisting in the co-ordination of design interfaces. The cladding consisted of a blackened stainless steel with a debossed pattern.

Under the designs of Fletcher Priest, OAG installed bespoke galvanised cladding panels, various shop fronts & doors alongside double height glazing. On the first floor we installed full height glazing along the building perimeter & bespoke louvers. In addition, we were later contracted to install 12 floors of Fortiglaze doors & screens, with a varied mixture of different fire protection ratings to suit the needs of the building.

The project is due for completion later this year.

We thoroughly enjoyed working with SRM & Fletcher Priest on this project & look forward to collaborating with them in future.
