We believe in providing aesthetically pleasing glazed fire barriers

OAG Fire Designs & Delivers

Bespoke fire glazing systems for every environment

We specialise in fire glazing solutions that protect lives and assets while seamlessly complementing the architectural vision of a space. For us fire safety goes beyond compliance – it is about designing with integrity, installing with precision, and ensuring that all components, from glass to supporting constructions, delivers reliable performance throughout the building lifetime.

With the introduction of the Building Safety Act, responsibilities across the construction supply chain have never been clearer. Our role is to provide clients with absolute confidence: confidence that their fire glazing systems are fully tested, legally compliant, and backed by robust documentation, precise installation methods, and maintenance programmes designed to meet evolving requirements.

We provide a comprehensive range of fire glazing solutions – including glazed doors, framed and frameless walls, structural fire screens and specialist façades – all designed and manufactured to meet demanding project specifications. Each solution is engineered to deliver the required fire performance, from integrity-only protection (E30) through to the highest levels of integrity and insulation (EI120).

Crucially, we also design, test and supply the supporting frames, structural fixings and interfaces that ensure these systems perform exactly as intended. Fire glazing is never just about the glass itself; its reliability depends on the surrounding structures and how they respond under fire conditions.

The Building Safety Act places greater emphasis on the “golden thread of information”, requiring dutyholders to maintain accurate records across a building’s lifecycle. At OAG Fire, we ensure that all glazing systems and supporting construction is fully documented, giving clients and building owners complete traceability from design through to installation and beyond.

Certification

Performance proven through rigorous testing

Fire glazing solutions must demonstrate their resilience, which is why we commit significant investment to continuous testing. Working with Warrington Fire and other UKAS accredited bodies, we perform tests across a wide range of configurations – materials, jointing methods, glass types, and supporting constructions- to ensure dependable performance in real-world applications.

Our testing regime goes far beyond the minimum requirements. We examine how systems perform under challenging conditions, unusual building geometries, and complex structural interfaces. This approach gives clients confidence that even bespoke designs are underpinned by robust performance evidence.

All systems are tested to BS EN 1634-1 or BS EN 1364-1, the European standard for fire resistance. By validating not only the glazing but also the frames and connections that secure them, we help to eliminate risk at the critical interfaces where products and structures meet.

As a FIRAS-accredited installer, we ensure installation quality matches the standards achieved in testing, bridging the gap between lab conditions and real-world performance.

Production

End-to-end control, precision manufacturing

Our dedicated factory in Radstock, Somerset, gives us full control over the production of fire doors, screens, and supporting constructions. From cutting and processing glass to assembling frames and structural fixings, we manage every stage of manufacture to ensure precision, consistency and dependable performance.

This approach ensures not only quality and accuracy but also scalability. Whether a single bespoke feature or a large-scale roll-out across a major development, our streamlined processes deliver consistency and reliability.

For us production should extend beyond supply. We support clients with maintenance contracts and long-term inspection services, helping to ensure fire glazing systems and their supporting constructions remain compliant throughout the entire building lifecycle. With the Building Safety Act placing renewed focus on accountability and ongoing management, this continuity of service has become more important.
