PRE-CONTRACT ASSISTANCE
We provide valuable up-front high-level assistance in specifying the correct glazed fire barrier for your application.

We provide technical and design advice during the pre-contract stage, including the formation of budget costings and potential value engineering options available. We will review and issue guidance on design solutions in conjunction with the fire strategy and requirements.

We provide budget advise to ensure that each fire element has the correct and appropriate value as there can be a wide range in cost dependant upon the fire rating and performance required.

We can explore alternative products which are suitable, but it is crucial that they meet and are supported with fully certified and test data. Our technical team are able to assist our clients and design teams through this process. This enables us all to control the budget and design and amend to suit. It also ensures that designs are buildable as we develop logistics and methodology aspects alongside the design process.

Product selection options can be complicated, however with our extensive knowledge in fire and fire products we are able to navigate you through this area and offer the best possible solutions to meet your requirements.

PLANNING, PROCUREMENT AND DELIVERY
A collaborative approach to logistics planning, risk analysis and procurement will ensure the project is delivered successfully.

Our Project Managers are involved from the start and carefully plan and manage all aspects throughout the procurement process.

This involves in-depth planning, risk analysis and establishing a clear and achievable programme for the works.

All design, procurement and manufacturing elements are managed through each of the initial phases and coordinated with any interfacing trades.

The way in which we carry out the works through our installation teams forms an enormous part of the planning process, as we have to be sensitive to each domain. Therefore careful attention is placed on developing something with fits in with the clients on-site environment, which in many cases involves working within restrictions and occupied premises, as well as forming a methodology which is specific to each activity and element involved.

AFTER SALES SERVICE / MAINTENANCE
Post completion, we provide a certificate of conformity for the fire rated products installed, which demonstrates our continued commitment and involvement with the independent FIRAS installation inspection scheme.

Our OAG Select division provides support after and beyond the main build process.

We offer maintenance to dovetail into planned maintenance strategies to ensure that our clients have the means to continue the journey.

Doors and fire products require servicing, it’s important that these are fully inspected and warranties are maintained.

We can also offer support with any future changes, such as replacements or adaptations.

We provide an aftercare service for our clients throughout the life cycle of their glazing elements.

The certificate of conformity outlines the scope of work, fire products used and quality control procedures which we have undertaken throughout. For further information on the FIRAS scheme, please feel free to contact us.
