Project Story
Found just off busy Tottenham Court Road, the distinctive glass features at this mixed-use building were completed in three challenging phases.
When the buildings at 1 and 2 Stephen Street were redeveloped by Balfour Beatty, we were called in to design and install the glass façade and entrances for the offices, shops and flats at the site.
We designed a bespoke special feature too, in the form of perforated stainless-steel cladding, which sits on a curved wall. At 5.5 metres in height and with a unique corrugated wave pattern disrupting its surface, it’s a particularly stunning piece.
Once in progress, the project took on a second phase, where we were asked to supply revolving doors, other glass doors, spandrel panels, terrace screening and to apply a graduated film design to the façade glazing.

Project Story Continued
When a third phase of development was commissioned, we returned to design, manufacture and install double-glazed shopfronts with an Alucobond-finished canopy and soffit for eight retail outlets, plus the Odeon cinema on Tottenham Court Road. During the works, the Odeon remained open for business.
