Project Story
Our work at Ruskin Square was varied, consisting of both internal and external screens, automated glass doors and fire rated glass.
The feature screen was installed above the Tormax glazed double automatic doors leading to the reception area, at a size of 2.98m x 3.85m weighing in at 620kg. Due to the size and weight of this pane a spider crane was used for placement. To meet the clients aesthetic needs we hid the steel work within the frame and finished the frame with a powder coat.
We also situated a structurally siliconed cantilevered screen above the stairwell entrance using a Winlet Glazing Robot. Above the reception desk to level 1, we installed more structurally siliconed glass as well as fire rated glass to external lift shafts.
