OAG Select were commissioned to design and install the new glass entrance at City Point.
Split over 2 elevations, this corner grand reception entrance facade was originally raked out at the top. The architect designed a new vertical façade to maximise the footprint.
To ensure uninterrupted views of the client’s 5.5m x 12m video wall behind the reception, the architect wanted minimal steelwork and optimum glass clarity.
Using a 3D scan survey, we were able to map out the existing space and design the required glazing solution to fit the space perfectly.
Each piece of glass installed was 54mm thick IGU with “Clarity” coatings, to ensure it was ultra-clear, to tie in with the existing finishes the steel mullions were silver anodised.
To complete the entrance, we then supplied and installed the Geze automatic sliding entrance doors.
