O2 Headquarters

At 60m long and with elevated walkways and platforms inside, this structure is a real shop window for O2's brand and technology.

Project Story

We provided a showpiece glass and steel structure, with an almost seamless façade along with glass features to the O2 Headquarters in Slough.

Visitors to the offices will marvel at the multi-storey façade that we helped construct, which connects the two main office buildings at the property.

At 60m long and with elevated walkways and platforms inside, the structure has become one of our iconic jobs and is a real shop window for O2’s brand and technology.

To support the glass panels, we constructed a secondary steel frame and fixed it to the buildings main structure. Horizontal beams hold the glass panels in place to the whole length of the building. However, there are no vertical mullions and we engineered a glass-to-glass system, which is sealed with silicone so there is very little interruption to the glazing.

Project Story Continued

Light streams in through both sides of the building, which houses reception areas, meeting rooms, cafes and more. There is even an open-air patio area, enclosed by glass curtain walls within the upper level.

Leaving a lasting impression on anyone who visits O2, both the design and finish of this structure are stunning.
