Project Story
We designed, shipped and installed three impressive atria in Ogier’s new Jersey HQ.
Ambitious plans were put in place when the architects at ORMS designed a new building for the Jersey-based legal firm Ogiers. It was to be a long, narrow structure with three separate atria as you move through the space.
Ogier’s purple, blue, green and red brand colours bring a bright and brilliant touch to the glazing that we installed, with the glass balustrades on each level a different colour. We used coloured interlayers in the glass to match the company’s branding and this augments the building’s unique feel.

Beneath the atria roofs, shading was required and at first we considered a system of glass fins. However, a lighter and more elegant solution was to use sets of aluminium Texo fins wrapped in an open weave fabric. The optical effect when you look up lends another layer of texture to this fascinating project.
