Project Story
Located in North London, Swiss Cottage SEN School is a community-maintained special school.
OAG Select were commissioned by BAM Construction to replace the canopy over the main entrance.
To reduce the impact on staff, pupils and families, our work was carried out during the school holidays and over a couple of weekends.
We removed the existing glass canopy over the main doors and then installed the new 100m long glass canopy, including supporting framework, glass and gutters.
The new canopy provides shelter to people entering and leaving the school, and being made of glass is almost invisible, enabling the rest of the building to remain the main focus.
