James Batchelor

James joined the Optima group in 1999, having spent over 10 years working in glazing and façade design.

As Design Director, he oversees the design and engineering team, providing pre-contract technical advice and remains close to projects throughout their lifecycle.

Over 20 years, James has worked on some of the most iconic buildings, including 60 Victoria Embankment, St Pancras station, the O2 headquarters in Slough and Embankment Place (to name just a few).
