Project Story
Originally designed by Foster + Partners over 20 years ago, 50 Finsbury Square has been completely redeveloped and refurbished by Mace, in conjunction with architects Doone Silver Kerr.
50 Finsbury Square will be home to the new headquarters for telecommunications company Inmarsat Global Limited.
The refurbished building now provides around 121,000 sq ft of office space as well as an integrated café and business lounge, new retail and leisure facilities and three amenity spaces for events and agile working.
Our work included the design and installation of the double-height stacked curtain wall glazing to the ground floor main entrance façade. The glazing extends up to 8 metres high and integrates with the existing upper-level façade originally installed by Focchi.

To the new level 8 roof terrace pavilion, we installed framed and unitised curtain walling with automated Cortizo sliding doors, a louvred plant enclosure to the new roof plant room and external glazed balustrading to the level 8 roof and level 6 terrace areas.
