We were delighted at the end of 2016 to remain on the London Bridge Station redevelopment project for the third phase, on various areas of the project. With the first two phases being primarily centred around shop fronts and security glazing, we were excited to get started on our 275m long two phase façade on the Tooley street building.
In collaboration with Costain, we have installed multilevel façade glazing, with the upper tier consisting of our gorgeous curved façade and the lower our double height stacked bomb blast glazing.

Further inside the station we were excited to see how our 26 glass archway shopfronts would look fitted in the historic surrounding red brick on Western Arcade. Our aim was to bring a modern touch to this Victorian barrel-vaulted retail area, in keeping with the stations character.
Finally our retail glazing installation on Bermondsey street consisted of 7 no arches ,7 metres high by 7 metres width, we also provided the structural steel. The shopfronts comprise of structural glazing on a Raico stick system and Allgood automatic closer SG Schuco doors. In addition, we situated pressed metal anodised Analok blue grey and brushed stainless steel flashings at floor level.
As the project comes into its closing stages we are thrilled with how it has run and the relationships we have developed. We are proud of how we have performed and look forward to seeing the station unveiled early next year.
